Who We Are. |
Byron Josh grew up on the West Coast - Los Angeles County in California. Growing up, he was fascinated with all things technology and performing arts as both a musical performer and as a hip-hop dancer. As a late bloomer, he came out of the closet at 28. During his time in the closet, he realized his attraction to the larger male, which turned out to be yet another coming out process. During his first year out, he progressed quickly: he met Sebastian (now his husband) and he came out to all his friends and family. They started StockyFotos shortly after.

Having started with headshot and portraiture photography in college and the Southern California hip-hop dance community, we really found our niche when we attended our first Gay Bear Run. We realized that there was a void in the bear community where one could feel comfortable in a private setting in front of a camera. With Byron and Sebastian's combined experience in photography, videography, producing, and directing, we started StockyFotos to hopefully help fill that void and continue the positive and supportive atmosphere the bear community already does naturally.

In addition to traveling the country covering Gay Bear/Chub/Chaser events, we operate a video production and photography company specializing in commercial/product and corporate videography & photography. We also cover event photography including parties, corporate events, and weddings.
We serve clients ranging from fortune 500 big name corporations to small businesses and startups. Our clients have enjoyed our quality and passion for our work.
