Who We Are. |
Byron Josh, born and raised in Los Angeles County, California, has always been drawn to the worlds of technology and performing arts. Whether it was taking the stage as a musical performer or showcasing his skills as a hip-hop dancer, he loved expressing himself creatively. Byron, a self-described late bloomer, came out at 28. During his time in the closet, he discovered his attraction to larger men that led to an additional journey of self-discovery.
In his first year out, Byron met his husband, Sebastian—a talented producer of family-friendly LGBTQ+ films, who has collaborated with stars like Carrie Preston and Michael Emerson. Sebastian also directed short documentaries for the non-profit organization Second Chance and served as a director for entertainment at a major theme park. |

Combining Byron's lifelong passion for photography and Sebastian's expertise in producing and directing events and feature films, their journey took a meaningful turn at their first Gay Bear/Chub Run. It was there they identified a gap in the community -- a need for a safe space where individuals could feel at ease in front of a camera. Inspired by this realization, they pooled their skills in photography, videography, production, and direction to create StockyFotos. Their goal? To bridge that gap and contribute to the welcoming and affirming energy that the bear and chub communities naturally embody.

In addition to traveling the country covering Gay Bear/Chub/Chaser events, we operate a video production and photography company specializing in commercial/product and corporate videography and photography. We serve clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small businesses and startups. Our clients have enjoyed our quality and passion for our work.
We offer video production services which range from simply providing a crew to full productions including talent scouting, location scouting, hair/makeup/wardrobe stylists, and more.
